How sweet it is!
The so-called Human Shields have discovered that Saddam was using them for propaganda and miliitary purposes. Gee… who could have predicted that? Shocking!
They spent a couple of weeks at Baghdad’s most expensive hotel, all expenses paid by Saddam, before figuring this out? Perhaps another clue should have been that the Iraqi government wanted to station them at military targets.
These idiots thought they would be “defending” civilians, a logic that we previously destroyed with great glee.
Finally, the US warned that staying in Baghdad might get them killed. Apparently they hadn’t thought of this (we are not talking about serious people here). Now they have tucked their yellow tails between their legs and are departing Iraq as fast as they can.
I was able to intercept a conversation between a human shield and one of the Iraqi shield-minders. It was very educational.
