I find it most interesting that San Francisco, CA was not listed. Can it be that possibly, just possibly, the “bad guys” do not consider this area to be a valuable target?

Disney has been after flight restrictions over their property for a long time now. They don’t like the banner towers advertising for companies outside their control.

With flight restrictions over major league baseball, NFL football, NASCAR and NCAA Div 1 football, it seems that private companies now control the United States airspace.

I’m scheduled to travel to a Disney convention center in Orlando this weekend for a conference that starts Monday.

I’ll tell ya, a specific FAA restriction does nothing to make me feel safer. Indeed, it has quite to opposite effect, causing me to even reconsider the trip.

If I recall correctly, in the last few days, there was a news story somewhere saying that business was way down at Disney’s parks.

Sorry I can’t be more specific.

But it makes quite a bit of sense that Disney could seek some assistance in a bid to make people feel safer visiting their parks.

While I am surprised that neither LA nor Chicago have yet to get a no fly zone designation, I can’t think of what Islamic militants might find to be a larger symbol of American excess and commercialism than the self-proclaimed Happiest Place on Earth (well, maybe Vegas…).

And with a wife and daughter currently visiting one of those two designated locations, I’m not complaining that they’ve received them.
