Another idiotarian talking point: We shouldn’t have killed Qusay and Uday because now they will be martyrs to the cause.

First of all, they neglect the obvious fact that we wanted these monsters alive. They would have been of far more use in that condition, which may be why Uday is believed to have committed suicide during the battle. We could have displayed them in a way that nobody would doubt their capture. We could have interrogated them. And importantly, we could have let the long suffering Iraqi people put them on trial and enact their own justice on them.

Second, we obviously didn’t intend to kill them, or we would have started shooting first. Instead we sent troops into the house in an attempt to capture them, suffering four wounded in the process when the evil brothers shot first. Even after that, we offered them the opportunity to surrender. Twice.

Ahem…don’t let the facts hit you in the rear on your way out, idiots!
