Perspective: Chinese Coal Mine Fires = US Car CO2 Emissions!
Fri July 4th, 2008 13:28 MSTAmericans are denounced because our automotive use adds too much CO2 to “global warming”. We are urged to buy smaller (less safe) vehicles, drive less, and invest vast sums in alternative transportation.
Did you know that accidental coal mine fires in China continuously contribute as much CO2 to the atmosphere as all of the cars and light trucks in the US?
US cars emit 333 million tons of CO2 per year (337 in 1999).
Chinese coal mine first contribute about 330 million tons of carbon dioxide each year.
Don’t you know that it’s only CO2 from the U.S. that causes global warming?
But it’s up to us to take care of our own problems! Don’t you know we have no control over the Chinese because of all of the stupid things Bush has done!!! If not for Bush the Chinese wouldn’t have accidental coal fires and we wouldn’t have any cars emitting CO2!!!! Vote HOPE in 2008!!!
