Climate Change Skeptics’ Handbook

When Obama talks about a constitution that “adapts to the times” or is a “living document,” what does he really mean?
His true intent is for the Constitution to be written in pencil.
If some clause prohibits one of his plans for “social justice,” then it is effectively erased by Obama’s court appointees. If the Constitution doesn’t provide a “right” that Obama wants, it will be penciled in.
How about a right to health care? Sounds pretty innocent… until you realize (as Obama well knows) that the constitutional rights are only prohibitions on government action. So a constitutional right to health care means penciling it into the constitution.
Do we have a right to free speech? Well, if it offends the wrong people, Obama would scribble in “except if it offends…” into the First Amendment.
A “living constitution” is not a constitution. It is simply a license for the government to do whatever it wants, whenever it wants.
Remember, this is the goal of the whole Democratic Party and already accepted, at least in part, by 7 of the 9 justices of the Supreme Court!
We face a serious danger in this election of losing our ability to ever unelect those elites who plan to come to power. We can lose not only our economy, but our democracy itself.
Save our Constitution! Vote against Obama!
Oh, and while we’re on scary subjects… Vox has found a good one here.
Obama, the candidate of hope?
Well, only if things look really bad.
The Democrats, with their lackeys in the press, have done all they could for the last four years to make all of us weary and depressed. Their strategy puts at least one bad news story in the main stream press every day. Day in, and day out, they wore us down.
The emotional sale: anything will be better than what we have now.
Then along comes Mr. Hope. Of course, in his speeches, he had to exaggerate how bad things were in order to make a future with him look better.
But he had lots of help, from our tormentors in the press.
And now, Americans are about to elect Mr. Hope. Do they know anything about him? No, not really, but one thing they know, deep in their Pavlovian hearts, is that the drumbeat of bad news will end when he gets elected. That alone is enough reason to vote Obama.
Okay, this is not meant seriously..

Once upon a time, W and his buddy, Dick Cheney, went out pheasant hunting. Dick spotted a bird, swung and fired.
Oops. W went down.
Dick, on seeing what he had done, keeled over with his 37th and final heart attack.
Nancy was sworn in the next day.
Psychologists call the phenomenon “projection.”
For the last 8 years, we have heard all sorts of nasty things about the right…
Now let’s look at the real world:
In what has to be a most amazing piece of “journalism”, NBC goes to Hanoi, and gives equal credence to John McCain’s reports of torture and the prison director’s tale of having talks “as friend” with McCain!
Well, we knew they were in the tank for McCain, but this is really in bad taste!
The Daniel Douglass’ AP analysis of Palin’s comments:
…her attack was unsubstantiated and carried a racially tinged subtext…
What horrible thing did she say?
“Our opponent … is someone who sees America, it seems, as being so imperfect, imperfect enough, that he’s palling around with terrorists who would target their own country,”
“This is not a man who sees America like you and I see America,” she said. “We see America as a force of good in this world. We see an America of exceptionalism.”
Racially tinged subtext? WHERE?
Oh yeah, and this is also “A deliberate attempt to smear Obama.”
No, Mr. Douglass, Palin is simply doing your job. You and your fellow travelers have swept this issue under the rug. You have pretended to investigate it, but only pretended.
The only “unsubstantiated” “smear” is this attack by our shameless media.
Oh, and expect the word swiftboating to appear at any time!
I stumbled onto a blog posting that links to great info on this crisis. If you want to see it all layed out, in detail, with nifty graphs, see below.
Here are a couple of links from it:
A tip of the hat to Armed Liberal at Winds of Change.
Victor Davis Hanson gives a sharp and dismaying summary of Obama in his analysis of the VP debate:
Obama may well be President, a man of dubious associations, a hyper-partisan voting record, a disturbing if not vicious campaign history in Illinois, with large lacunae in his past at Columbia, and before and during Harvard, and a record of very little accomplishment if not frequent failure as an ambitious community organizer, while a politicized professor at Chicago Law School without a trace of scholarly publication. The pattern is the same: rhetoric, identity politics, and charisma substitute for accomplishment as he goes from one position to the next before the assessment of the last is in.
Many of the Democrat Power Elite no doubt recognize how weak Obama really is. His record gives no indication that he has any substance. But he’s a great mouthpiece, capable of charming the crowds on the other side of the teleprompter, and he guarantees the yuppie and black votes.
Is their plan to get him elected as puppet president, pulling his strings when he can’t make up his mind, which will be all the time?
