Don't Miss Behind the Scenes: Swift Boat Veterans vs. John Kerry

Petition - Kerry Won’t Release Military Medical Records

Tue March 2nd, 2004 11:34 MST

Hanoi John Kerry website is asking Vietnam Veterans to sign a petition asking Kerry to release his military medical records (which he has always refused to do).

This is only fair, given the vicious campaign against Bush and Bush’s release of all of his records including his medical records.

Please go to HERE to sign the petition.

Fop-Flip

Roger Simon coins a new term:

Message alteration or flip-flop? Recommendation: when the Massachusetts Senator changes his position (or his haircut) we call it a “fop-flip.”

Another Warrior Against Kerry

Mon February 23rd, 2004 15:13 MST

From Don Bendell:

My wife had rotator cuff surgery earlier this year, and the recovery is terribly painful. Then, she developed a staph-epi infection, and they had to cut the same scar open and operate on her again. Just thinking about the pain and anxiety of facing that painful surgery a second time in the same wound, makes me cringe. That experience, however pales in comparison to what I am going through right now, in my heart.

The old hurts are surfacing and the feelings of betrayal by fellow citizens, and their leader stirring them up, are breaking my heart again. I am being cut in the same scar. How did we who served in Vietnam suddenly become cold-blooded killers, torturers, and rapists, of the ilk of the Nazi SS or the Taliban? Most of us were American soldiers who grew up idolizing John Wayne, Roy Rogers, and all the other heroes. That was why I volunteered. But for political expediency, John Kerry has rewritten history, again. After spending only four months in the country of Vietnam, John Kerry testified before Congress in 1971 with these exact words about incidents he supposedly witnessed or heard about from other vets: “They personally raped, cut off ears, cut off heads, taped wires from portable telephones to human genitals and turned up the power, cut off limbs, blown up bodies, randomly shot at civilians, razed villages, shot cattle and dogs for fun, poisoned food stocks, and generally ravaged the countryside of South Vietnam.”

Mark,
You say there is no real connection between Kerry and Jane Fonda.

Fonda was a major funder of VVAW, of which Kerry was a leader. Fonda and Kerry spoke at the same events. Fonda funded the Winter Soldier “investigation” which is which Kerry attended to and which became the basis for his testimony before the Senate (and incidently where Fonda met her first husband, SDS’er Tom Hayden). Fonda and Kerry shared the same goals. They used the same type of language. There is an obvious connection.

Kerry’s campaign spokesman admitted they were acquaintances.

Finally, Jane Fonda is a symbol all Vietnam Vets understand. Kerry’s beahvior isn’t as well known, but is in the same spirit. Kerry didn’t go to the enemy’s capitol like Fonda, instead he went to our own capitol, where he did his damage. The association of the two is both real and symbolic. It is appropriate.

Kerry Chameleon

When selecting a president, character should be an important factor. Without good character, the policy positions of a politician are meaningless.

John Kerry is a character. He has been a political wind vane, with his votes and opinions changing with the polls. About the only thing consistent has been his votes to cut the military and intelligence budgets. But he then changed his colors and blamed Bush for intelligence failures.

In a remarkable coincidence, herpetologists have just discovered a new reptilian species, Chamaelo Kerrius

Kerry Still Helping Our Enemies?

Tue February 10th, 2004 21:41 MST

WASHINGTON (Mehr News Agency) — The office of Senator John Kerry, the frontrunner in the Democratic presidential primary in the U.S., sent the Mehr News Agency an e-email saying that Kerry will try to repair the damage done by the incumbent president if he wins the election. The text of the e-mail follows.

The Mehr News Agency appears to be part of the Iranian government propaganda operation, based on their web site. Kerrry sent them an email, and the Tehran Times (the house organ of the Ayatollahs) responds by endorsing Kerry.

At this point,Hezbollah, a major terrorist organization, and Iran, a major terrorist country both are publicly in favor of Kerry’s election. And Kerry sought the support of the latter!

This is almost unbelievable! A U.S. Senator and Presidential Candidate signaling one of the most dangerous regimes in the world that should favor his election! I’d keep a close eye on the source of his campaign funds.

Apparently Kerry doesn’t realize that the government of Iran is controlled by Islamic extremists of the worst kind, one of whom has stated an intent to attack Israel with nuclear weapons, regardless of the cost. Apparently he doesn’t realize that the majority of Iranians want the United States to free them from the oppression by Kerry’s new friends. Or maybe he doesn’t care.

Waking Up with Fleas

Bush Haters should be happy to know that Mr. Nasrallah is on their side. He said:

The resistance movement [against the U.S. in Iraq] may not be able to remove the U.S. from Iraq within a year, but it will be able to remove Bush, [Defense Secretary Donald] Rumsfeld and [National Security Adviser] Condoleezza Rice, together with their Zionist friends, from the White House,” Nasrallah assured his listeners. Nasrallah’s scenario requires no deep understanding: Suicide attacks and sabotage operations against the American forces in Iraq will cause American public opinion to turn against the president and not re-elect him, thus bringing about the disappearance of this group of leaders from the White House.

This is the same hope that kept the North Vietnamese fighting, and ultimately led to their victory. John Kerry was one of the most prominent members of that “Resistance.”

Who is Nasrallah? He is the leader of the largest terrorist organization in the world: Hezbollah, responsible for killing many Americans.

Vietnam POW On Kerry

Kerry Discussion: Thoughts of a Vietnam POW

by Joe Crecca

28 Jan 04

The rigors and hardships of being a POW aside, I remember the so-called, “Peace Movement,” and “Peace Marches and Rallies” that were taking place back home in the USA Our captors were more than willing, within their means, to provide us with any and all anti-US and anti-Vietnam War propaganda. Without a choice in the matter, we listened to the “Voice of Vietnam” broadcasts by, “Hanoi Hannah” and were shown newspaper and magazine photos and articles about those opposing the war back in the States. One of the peace marchers’ standard slogans was to, “Bring our boys home now and, alive.” The warped thinking of such people was that by demonstrating against US involvement in Vietnam, they’d be shortening the war and reducing the number of American casualties. These demonstrators would also try to make one believe that their efforts would bring POWs like me home sooner. They were utterly wrong on both counts not to mention the detrimental effect their actions had on the morale of our troops and our POWs.

John F. Kerry was not just one of these demonstrators. He was leading them.

Therefore, these so-ca

Tasty Manatees has a great idea for John Kerry’s running mate.

Useful Fools observes that Kerry has this running mate whether he likes it or not.

Benedict Arnold?

Kim du Toit has an interesting way to look at John Kerry… hint: Benedict Arnold comes to mind. Check it out.
