NBC Talks to Hanoi Hilton Director - They had “spirited talks” With McCain

Mon October 6th, 2008 21:09 MST

In what has to be a most amazing piece of “journalism”, NBC goes to Hanoi, and gives equal credence to John McCain’s reports of torture and the prison director’s tale of having talks “as friend” with McCain!

Well, we knew they were in the tank for McCain, but this is really in bad taste!

Here’s the link. Don’t buy anything from the advertisers!

The MSM Unhinged - Palin’s Comments “racial”

Sun October 5th, 2008 12:08 MST

The Daniel Douglass’ AP analysis of Palin’s comments:

…her attack was unsubstantiated and carried a racially tinged subtext…

What horrible thing did she say?

“Our opponent … is someone who sees America, it seems, as being so imperfect, imperfect enough, that he’s palling around with terrorists who would target their own country,”

“This is not a man who sees America like you and I see America,” she said. “We see America as a force of good in this world. We see an America of exceptionalism.”

Racially tinged subtext? WHERE?

Oh yeah, and this is also “A deliberate attempt to smear Obama.”

No, Mr. Douglass, Palin is simply doing your job. You and your fellow travelers have swept this issue under the rug. You have pretended to investigate it, but only pretended.

The only “unsubstantiated” “smear” is this attack by our shameless media.

Oh, and expect the word swiftboating to appear at any time!

Obama - The Puppet?

Fri October 3rd, 2008 16:01 MST

Victor Davis Hanson gives a sharp and dismaying summary of Obama in his analysis of the VP debate:

Obama may well be President, a man of dubious associations, a hyper-partisan voting record, a disturbing if not vicious campaign history in Illinois, with large lacunae in his past at Columbia, and before and during Harvard, and a record of very little accomplishment if not frequent failure as an ambitious community organizer, while a politicized professor at Chicago Law School without a trace of scholarly publication. The pattern is the same: rhetoric, identity politics, and charisma substitute for accomplishment as he goes from one position to the next before the assessment of the last is in.

Many of the Democrat Power Elite no doubt recognize how weak Obama really is. His record gives no indication that he has any substance. But he’s a great mouthpiece, capable of charming the crowds on the other side of the teleprompter, and he guarantees the yuppie and black votes.

Is their plan to get him elected as puppet president, pulling his strings when he can’t make up his mind, which will be all the time?

Pelosi Poops in her Hat

Mon September 29th, 2008 11:48 MST

Yesterday, after negotiations produced a plan acceptable to enough Republicans and Democrats, congress-critters gave press conferences. The Republicans were warmly bi-partisan. The Democrats, when handing out plaudits all around, managed not to give any to Republicans.

This was a sign of things to come.

Remember, the Democrats can pass this bill with ZERO Republican votes - they are in the majority. But they need Republican votes to provide an appearance of bipartisanship - political cover for an unpopular plan.

Republicans went to the floor of the house ready with enough votes to provide the necessary cover. Before the vote, Pelosi just couldn’t resist a vicious partisan attack on Republicans.

Guess what… some of the Republican votes evaporated. The vote failed. The Democrats, who had just attacked the Republicans, did not have the political courage to produce a few more votes for the proposition in order for it to pass.

Once again, vile partisanship by the Democrats is the order of the day.

The Democrats: No Shame and The End Justifies The Means

Wed September 17th, 2008 22:22 MST

The Democrats have no shame. None.

Somebody hacked Sarah Palin’s email and put her messages on the web. That’s a despicable crime, but not the real issue.

The Democrat talking heads immediately started implying these messages meant Sarah Palin had done something wrong.

What? Oh…. she did state business on the account, where it couldn’t be subpoenaed [a lie, btw - of course they can be subpoenaed].

They shouldn’t be using these messages at all! They claim to deplore how they were obtained. Yeah. And then they immediately use them to attack Palin. That’s really deploring the crime isn’t it! If the messages had been on paper, these stooges could be convicted for receiving stolen property. They have no shame!

And then the message in question… oohhh - she may have done state business on her private account. The evidence? Sshe and the Lt. Gov commiserated about press scrutiny. That’s state business? But these talking heads say… well, there might be something more (wink, wink).

Talk about dirty politics! This is the lowest of the low.

This is gutter politics, which is where these people seem to live.

This is Obama’s new politics. Thanks, but no thanks!

McCain Campaign - Stick to the Laugh Track

Wed September 17th, 2008 20:49 MST

The McCain campaign has done well using humor against the Obama campaign.

Lately, they’ve sounded a bit grumpy. Complaining about the Sarah Palin skit on SNL?

Bad move.

Complaining about the “lipstick on a pig” comment?

What a missed opportunity! There’s a dozen ways they could have turned that on the Democrats’ own sensitivity industry, but instead, they complained!.

The elite left cannot stand to be teased, and the McCain campaign has put them off balance with quick, funny jabs.

Now McCain and Palin need to stick with the humor - it wins. Avoid the gripes, the sensitivity - it’s just playing the Democrats’ game.

Get back on the laugh track, McCain and Palin!
